Guess what!!! The cockatiels just mated!!! I am so dearly excited and in about seven to ten days Cloudy is going to lay an egg! Also after that in twenty-something days it will hatch! Are you as excited as I am right now!? Let me tell you how it happened. About ten minutes ago (its 2:56 p.m. right now) when I was playing a game called TANGOES I heard screeching so I looked where it was coming from and Sunny was stepping on Cloudy! (Luckily I watched a movie that shows birds mating so I knew what was going on.) After they stopped we were all very excited about what just happened. Home school is going well and we already learned some new things and one of them is Roman numerals. We are in sixth grade but we are doing seventh grade math. (Me and Lucy) I started a new book series called "The Sisters Grimm by: Micheal Buckley"and I just finished the sixth book. It is a really good book series about two girls who go to live at their "dead" grandmother's house and soon find out they are fairy-tale detectives and they go on all sorts of adventures. I hope you like it!

Cockatiels!!
Sunny Cloudy Guess what!? Lucy and I got new cockatiels last night! We got them from an old lady who could not give them as much attention as they needed. Plus all of her kids grew up and left home. We have two cockatiels now! I am very glad we got them and we got them for free, a cage came with it, and the lady gave us a book about them too. They are a breeding pair of cockatiels. They are seven to ten years old and their names are Sunny and Cloudy, Sunny is the boy and Cloudy is the girl. They are both very sweet and I think they are happier now. Sunny and Cloudy are both Pearl Pied Cockatiels and Sunny has a gray body with black and white wings and his face is yellow with redish orangeish cheeks while Cloudy has a black and yellow speckled body with black and yellow wings and a almost all the way yellow head with gray and lighter orange cheeks then Sunny. Don't they sound beautiful? They both like to talk a lot and Lucy and I taught Sunny a few tricks. Some of the tricks that we taught him is pumping his head up and down, whistling a little, waving his claw a little, and also almost say a few words. It's so exciting! The latest book I have read is called,"The BFG" by: Quentin Blake which is a very wonderful story about a girl and a giant. I hope you like what I wrote and try to find the book I was talking about. Bye!!!

The Little Prince
Hi, I have to type about a book called "The Little Prince" by: Antoine De Saint-Exupery because it's my home school assignment that my mom told me to do for writing today. I'ts a very good book about a pilot who was stranded in the desert awakes one morning to see, standing before him, the most extraordinary little fellow that came from another planet who's name is little prince. "Please," asks the stranger, "draw me a sheep." And the pilot realizes that that when life's events are too difficult to understand, there is no choice but to succumb their mysteries. He pulls out a pencil and paper... And thus begins this wise and enchanting fable that, in teaching the secret of what is really important in life, has changed the world forever for it's readers. So if you ever see it how about you check it out? Today is Alice's birthday party but her real birthday was a few days ago. Me and Lucy are going to get a breeding pair of cockatiels! See you later!!
Bye!
P.S. I wrote most of it from the book jacket.

Bored.... and Sad News
Hi, I can't believe anyone except myself and my cousin has commented on my blog lately!!! I wish someone could though because it would be really nice if they could. Well as long as I'm on I might as well write on my blog. I don't know what to write that much but I guess I'll talk about the birds. The sad news is (as you can see on my cover) that we don't have the cockatiels anymore. The reason is that the day I wrote on my blog about the cockatiels I found Fred looking tired so I told my dad about it and he figured that he did not have enough sleep. So I went upstairs to put a sheet on them. Then a few hours later I went upstairs to pack for my grandmas house and I found him laying on the bottom of the cage! He was still alive so I scooped him up and ran downstairs to my mom. So I showed my mom and I asked her if he was going to live. She said, " I don't know." she picked him up out of my hands and washed off his bum with a wet paper towel because it was really poopy. When she was done my grandma told her that when we got the cockatiels (their was three in there) one of them looked sick which was probably why Fred got sick. I was really sad at that time and my mom told me to get a box for him and wash my hands. I did what I was told and got a music box so Fred could have a peaceful death. Then a few minutes later Lucy and I packed up the rest of our stuff and went to the pet store to return Fred and Lemony Snicket. (We had to return Lemony Snicket because we were afraid that he got sick too.) So that is really all the story of the cockatiels. The book I'm reading now is called "Every Soul a Star" and it's about three kids who meet together at a campground for a solar eclipse that changes their lives forever. Bye!

Hi again!
Fred
Lemony Snicket
Hi, I'm sorry I haven't wrote on my blog for a while but I guess I didn't have time. First of all I want to talk about the cockatiels that Lucy and I got recently. We got them one week ago and there are two of them. Mine is a normal gray cockatiel and Lucy has a whiteish yellowish cockatiel. They are both males and mine is named Fred and Lucy's is named Lemony Snicket or Lemon Head for short. Fred can already go on my finger and he lets Lucy rub his belly for a few seconds. (Lemon Head can't do these things yet) We started home school a few days ago and so far I like it. We don't have our books but we will get them soon. Me, Lucy, and Grace are doing home school while Alice is going to public school. I have recently read the Harry Potter series for the third time and I also read The Children of Topaz which is a really good book about the Japanese Americans when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.
